Trapettism — The Manifesto
Trapettism
A doctrine of correspondence.
Trapettism (also written trapetism) holds that two complete forms can fit exactly, without either one changing and without anything being possessed.
Against halves
The old myth says each of us is a half in search of the other. We do not believe in halves. Two whole forms meet, and their geometry coincides.
I. Wholeness before the encounter
No one is missing anything. Correspondence does not fill a gap. It is recognised.
II. Correspondence, not similarity
Identical forms do not join. Complementary ones do.
III. No force
If pressure is needed, the fit is wrong.
IV. Clearance is not a defect
Two parts move together only if a gap remains between them. Zero distance seizes.
V. Recognition without possession
Correspondence exists before contact, and without it. It takes nothing else apart in order to happen.
Method
An exact fit needs no fastener. Whatever can be removed without the fit falling apart was never part of it.
Not everything that fits must be joined.
